disneyland letters

i'm telling you when my kids write letters, you end up with some pretty hilarious results. we wrote to our favorite character at disneyland because they write you back. here are just a few excerpts (keep in mind I kept everything the same:spelling, punctuation, etc.):

Dear Minnie,
Your my favorite character on Mickey Mouse Club house. I don't watch your show eney more, because I am 9 years old.

Dear Snow White,
What age are you? How did it fill to eat a poisoned apple? Does it fill weird? So what happened to the evil queen?

Dear Ariel,
Tell Rapunzel I said Hi! How are you? How's your daughter Melody? What age are you? Your awesome, funny, and weird in the movie The Little Mermaid. Your pretty. Is ursala still alive? If she is tell her she's mean.

Dear Sleeping Beauty,
I forgot do you have a husbend? When you were little did you go to princess school or some thing? How old are you? I'm gesing your a teenager.

Dear Mickey Mouse,
...O by the way minye kissed me when I was there last. I was just going to go get an autograph and then she kissed me and I blushed. (this is a boy)

Dear Ariel,
How are you do you like live on land? What do you like better land or water? Did you eat seaweed when you where a mermaid?

oh these kids are great. hope these gave you a laugh.

vigor winter 5k

this race was such a blast! it was an obstacle course 5k in the snow. i thought running in the sand was tough, but i think the snow was harder. jenny and i had so much fun and decided these are the best kind of races. here we are just getting ready to go brave the 14 degree weather! my favorite little fan that was there, miss sophie. this was our last obstacle, getting over a giant snow drift. at the end, so happy to be done. it felt longer than 3.2 miles.

so there was also a part where we had to sled down a hill. please look at THIS picture. it will give you a good laugh. we did a train and went way faster than expected, at this point we were about to hit the camera man.

Shamrock 4 mile run- March 17th
Little Red bike ride, 80 miler-June 2nd-this filled up in less than 2 hrs!!
Utah Valley 10k- June 9th

a survey

so the compassionate service committee in our ward handed out survey's to the husband's without the wives knowing. mine got read in relief society a few weeks ago.

What is her dream vacation?
A weekend spent with me.

Would your wife prefer jet skiing, snowmobiling, or ATVing? Why?
Probably jet skiing, she loves me with my shirt off.

What music does your wife like?
Her favorite band is Coldplay, if I hear that Paradise song one more time...

Who is your wife's scripture hero?
Jonah. She really likes whales.

these are just a few i couldn't help but share. he definitely had the ladies laughing, which is no surprise, considering he has me laughing constantly.

happy v-day tomorrow! hope you all have a LOVE ly day. i can't wait to give and get valentine's; joy's of a teacher.

law school is taking over...

any spare moment, my thoughts before i go to bed, our dinner conversations(any conversations really), and...our living room.

my husband needs to analyze every last detail, which i am happy about, but when he first brought this in here, i was like, i don't know about this in my living room. ha so far we have been accepted to 10 schools and are waiting to hear back from 8!
